i love how this loco looks and with my sub woofer makes my room shake really good

Before the ACEs arrived to take over the duty, it was a very common sight (Particularly at night) to see up to 4 of these (Bandits after the BNSF Merger) hauling Coal Drags through Seattle OTW to Vancouver to Transload.

This model exceeds my expectations to date. 5 Stars.

I have spent a few hours examining the BN SD70MAC, I have reviewed scripting, body looks, body detail, cab interior, and sounds. In that order-

Scripting: Well done when it comes to scripting, loco features fuel and sand usage. I do have a minor issue with the scripting, as in you are unable to have the throttle open for some time. after a while of the throttle being past notch 4/5, eventually message overlay appears stating the loco is getting hot and to reduce throttle. Where as this occurs within a few mins of being past notch 4/5. Real life the SD70MAC can be in notch 8 for quite some time, and does not overheat. So you kind of have to baby this loco along sometimes.
    Overall scripting: 4/5

Body Looks: Very well done for looks, paint is sharp and not blurry. Detailed red stripes, logo is in nice shape.
Suggested to bump up the resolution on the warning labels on the loco, a touch blurry…

    Overall body looks: 4.9/5

Body Detailing: Awesome work on detailing, Mu cables, bells, you name it, its there for a SD70MAC.
    Overall: 5/5

Cab Interior: Amazing work for a cab! I said wow when I seen the interior of this cab for the first time. the accuracy is real. I can confirm that this is the interior of a SD70MAC. I was in the cab of countless SD70’s before all these new federal laws came up. A SD70MAC in BN was the first locomotive I ever been in. I have a family photo of my grandfather holding me as a baby on the nose of a SD70. Anyways, off topic…
The interior features highly detailed digital displays which change as you throttle up or apply the brakes. the displays feature MPH, air psi, and tractive effort.

    Overall: 5/5 Excellent work!

Sounds: Loco sounds just like a SD70MAC would, from idle to run 8. Smooth transition of sound between each notch too.
Horn sounds just as you’d expect from a 3-chime.
    Overall: 5/5 Well done.

Other Notes: Price has been set to 4 stars for inconsistency between the other SD70MAC’s. This being in original BN for $15, and the newer BNSF ones being set at $12 each.

Overall Everything: 5/5 Highly recommended to get if you’re into the ’90s and ’00s scene for railroading.

The overheating is an issue with tane’s ammeter reading and should return to normal operation when n3v corrects the problem. The motor load is used in the calculation that determines the engine temperature. -JC

Great textures and sounds. Custom cab is absolutely fantastic, well beyond my expectations. Definitely get for Trainz collection.
