As per usual JR standards, this is right up there. Awesome model, and the texturing rocks. The B Unit is a Really well done Model as well IMHO.
My only issues are two.
1: The lack of a custom Cab really sucks…. This would be an awesome pack, but then you pop into the cab… Is this a Dash9? A Mac? a GEVO? All of the above since all have used the default cab before? Oh Wait! Theres the #2 button again, yea, thats right, it IS the ACE I just bought…..
2: The Orange seems a bit dark & vivid all at the same time. I live near, and work in, Seattle. I see freshly painted units all the time (usually from the sheds at Interbay, but I also get to see the old grody units too!) and this color seems a bit too “Danger Orange” if that makes sense to you. I agree that the colors the new ACEs wear tend to be darker then say the C44s, but I think this color is just a couple shades off…..
