BNSF transports Boeing 737 fuselages by train from Spirit AeroSystems factory in Wichita, Kansas, to the Boeing 737 assembly factory in Renton, Washington for final assembly. These trains are sometimes referred to as “Plane Trains” and involve specialized rail cars designed to carry the large aircraft components. This set includes an ES44ACH locomotive in BNSF colors with clean and lightly weathered skins and 6 different cars with various skins. 2 flat cars can be shown loaded with included fuselage loads, and when unloaded, they show the return-trip collapsible parts container.
