First the Bad – missing interior. Would be nice to have at least a note about which interior to grab, and better yet, a link. Simple solution – go to Dependencies – Cabs and grab the EMD Widecab Mechanism Type 5. (Admin response: This is so we can support multiple platforms)
The Question: Why is it using the SD70MAC engine? (Admin response: This is because it is essentially an SD70MAC in a 90MAC body)
The Good – Beautiful detail both outside and in. The detail on the exterior almost has you reaching out to open the access panels. Animated fans, ditch lights that flash when the horn is sounded, working wipers. The custom interior is a wonder. The digital readout works and has the usual details like brake pressure, EOT movement, Last Car number, speed, throttle and tractive effort. Also includes a working odometer and fuel gauge. The usual control levers and buttons are present and work either with the mouse or via keyboard command.
Despite the minor issues mentioned previously, this is definitely a worthwhile purchase; highly recommended!
