The Locomotive looks vary nice I enjoy the cab interior with the functional door and wipers not to mention the cab lighting and to top it all off fuel and sand consumption.

This locomotive is very nicely put together, love the custom cab and the attention to detail that was put into it. will look great pulling long freight trains on my early 90’s Santa Fe based route. Thank you Justin and Jointed Rail for this great model!

This is a excellent model of one of the last iconic locomotives of the Santa Fe. It’s very accurately modeled with gull-wing cab, pilot-mounted ditch lights, and other details. The texture-work is very well executed, with vivid colors and excellent panel detail. The weathering is nice and light, representing a unit a few years into it’s life.
The custom cab is also correct for Santa Fe, representing the analog nature of the early Dash 9s, and running numbers inside matching the outside of the unit. The digital speedometer is especially well done.
For Santa Fe in the 1990s or early BNSF, this is a excellent purchase, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality GE Superfleet locomotive.

While I’m usually happy with JR’s products, this one was such a disappointment. I assumed since it was one of the newer ATSF models, that it would be a better model overall. However, once I downloaded it and placed it into a session, I realized that the image shown here was not the engine I had received. The locomotive wasn’t shiny, the lights comically stick out when turned on, and the textures are rather dated. Not to mention the fact that the road number floats above the body of the engine, killing any sense of realism. It’s undrivable from a visual sense
The asset is in fact the same in both images. The item is from 2012 so there may be some things that display slightly different now (like the light flares) I would suggest changing your route environment settings so that the world is not so dark.
