I purchased this route for TANE and I was very impressed with the the overall work done to this route. Its impressive with great scenery and many scenic spots on the line. Although this route takes place in the modern era, due to the overall amount of scenery is mostly wooded, with the only two towns at both ends of the route, you can easily get away with running steam locomotives and vintage diesels on this route to get a more vintage era type setting. the amount of high bridges on this route also makes it very scenic and perfect for screenshot taking. I myself got a few screenshots that got featured in the N3V newsletter, with the majority of them that were featured were on this route particularly. I look forward to phase 2 of this route because in my mind so far its the best route by JR so far. Congrats to Wearsprada and all involved on making this route one of the best of the best out there.

Very authentic route. I appreciate the attention to detail and the use of the latest content that is specific to T:ANE. I could drive this all day long.

What few reasons to stop on the route there is, are done very well. If driving through 25 miles of trees at no faster than 30 mph. is your bag, than this is the route for you. If you like to run steam, then expect to run out. I didn’t see any provisions for coal, or water to keep you fed. It IS pretty, and if BN, is your favorite flag, then plenty of locos, and rolling stock for you. “Plenty to see and do” ? I saw plenty of trees. At the price tag, I am leery about wanting phase II. Those that love running 2+ mile long trains across the vast wilderness will love this. It is just not my cup of tea.

While I am not fanatical about the BN, I do really like running this route! The rolling stock and locos are beautifully weathered and modeled. They have custom cabs (I love the long hood forward running SD7) and excellent sounds. The scenery is wonderful on this route and the activity (only 1 included) is pretty fun too! I would have given this route four out of five stars due to there only having one activity included unlike most other routes and some of the installation problems I faced versus the Tidewater Point RR route I purchased prior to this, but the work that has been put into both this route and the stunning part 2 more than makes up for something so petty. An excellent addition to anyone who enjoys classic railroading in a more Northeastern setting.

It is a great route! (Typical with JR:) It comes with plenty of locomotives for someone who loves the BN. Only thing I wish it came with is the unpatched BN in the photo, was kinda disappointing that it wasn’t included with the route. But overall a must buy for someone who loves the BN!
